Abi Stoyle is an award-winning garden designer with is based in Sunninghill, Berkshire designing gardens in South East, South West and London.
In 2026, I designed Silo: All That Comes in Remains for RHS Badminton, where the garden was awarded a Gold Medal andthe Environmental Innovation Award. I was also awarded the Arne Maynard Garden Design Award during my studies at KLC School of Design, graduating with Distinction.
My approach combines creative garden design with a strong understanding of space, scale and proportion. I enjoy taking the initial ideas, challenges and aspirations of a client and developing them into gardens that feel cohesive, considered and connected to their surroundings.
Before moving into garden design, I worked as a Chartered Surveyor, this background has given me a practical and analytical approach to design, as well as a strong understanding of how to assess a site and think about buildability from the outset.
I believe a successful garden should be more than simply beautiful. It should respond to its setting, work for the people who use it and evolve naturally over time. Whether developing a complete garden from scratch or refining an existing space, I aim to create designs that are practical, distinctive and enduring.
When I’m not designing gardens, you’ll usually find me enjoying the outdoors, skiing, cycling or experimenting with sourdough.
